We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Generate tailored resumes based on your profile and job descriptions
• Process and complete transactions
• Send you technical notices and support messages

4. AI Processing

Our Service uses artificial intelligence (powered by OpenAI) to process your data and generate tailored resumes. When you use our AI features:

• Your profile information and job descriptions are sent to AI models for processing
• AI-generated content is created based on your input
• We do not use your personal data to train AI models
• AI processing is subject to OpenAI's data processing policies

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your information in the following situations:

• Service Providers: With third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf (e.g., hosting, AI processing)

• Delete your account from your dashboard settings, which permanently removes all your data

9. Cookies and Tracking

We use the following types of browser storage:

• Essential Cookies: Required for authentication and maintaining your session. These cannot be disabled without breaking the Service.
• Local Storage: Used to store your anonymous analytics ID, theme preference, and cookie consent choice. No personal information is stored.
• Session Storage: Used for temporary session tracking. Cleared when you close your browser.
• Analytics (Optional): We collect anonymous usage events (page views, feature usage) to improve the product. You can opt out by selecting "Essential Only" in the cookie consent banner.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party ad networks.

10. Third-Party Services

Our Service integrates with third-party services, including:

• Google OAuth: Optional social login for authentication
• Supabase: For database and authentication services
• OpenAI: For AI-powered resume generation
• Stripe: For payment processing and subscription management. Your payment details are handled directly by Stripe and never stored on our servers.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.

12. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have different data protection laws. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers.
